We strive to purchase all ingredients in the vicinity. Purchased daily yourself, fresher simply is not possible.
Of course we have traditional dishes on the menu, such as a delicious dorade and the most tender steak you have ever tasted! But we also like to ‘think outside the box’ with our fresh home-made pumpkin soup, vegetarian spaghetti or a chicken leg with rozeval potatoes. For the kids we have a mini beef burger, fresh pasta bolognese or a chicken leg.
For the taste explorers among us, we have created a separate menu each season, with which we actually color outside the lines. During the fall of 2017 we had a mini-dinner with white wine, garlic, camembert and walnut as an appetizer. The spring menu had as an intermediate a velouté of coconut and orange with a lukewarm smoked salmon with sea salt that has been flavored with real vanilla! The main course of our December menu 2017 consisted of a steak of deer with sweet mashed potatoes and a spiced-bisquit-gravy. Our vanilla ice creams are sprinkled with homemade limoncello or blackberry liquer, walnut liquer, honey or jasmine tea liqueur. Curious about our new menu? Then look further!
We will open our Guesthouse Kronenbergerhof around 1 January 2019. You feel like you are staying in a Bed & Breakfast: you can rent the rooms individually, but the stay is also suitable for larger groups (up to 36 persons). Hence the description Guesthouse with a number of 2, 4 and one 6-person rooms, two living rooms, two kitchens and two bathrooms. 5 rooms have their own bathroom.
